There's something about liatris hat butterflies just can't resist. It could be the flower's fuzzy texture, the striking amethyst color or its wand-like shape. Maybe the nectar or pollen are particularly tasty. Whatever the reason, planting liatris in your garden is a sure way to attract all sorts of butterflies, from painted ladies and spangled fritillaries to swallowtails and monarchs.
